"We are focused on strengthening the health service through investments in the system, but also new programs that we are undertaking in primary care to address mental health issues, through the integration of socio-health services. Minister Manastirliu and WHO Director for Europe, Dr. Kluge, shared together the idea of ??creating an active communication platform between member countries to address the challenge of mobility of health professionals.

"The absolute priority is the support of human resources in health, which are the backbone of the health system. We are undertaking a 2-year plan to increase pay and support for health professionals. But to address the issue of mobility of doctors, which does not belong to only one country or a few countries, an active platform of communication between countries is needed, using different forms of cooperation, in order to have a greater support for resources our human resources, in terms of their ongoing training and education", said Manastirliu.
