On the occasion of the organization of the 50th anniversary of the Spaçi Revolt by the Diocese of Rre?eni in cooperation with the Mirdita Municipality, President Bajram Begaj accompanied by the First Lady Armanda Begaj visited the prison of Spaçi.

Begaj called for understanding and empathy for a better future together, taking inspiration from the past.

"Let us build bridges of understanding, compassion and empathy, knowing that through these spiritual connections we can create a brighter future for generations to come. But we begin this by becoming aware of our past and morally separating good from evil. What is more important is building the future, apologizing for the mistakes of the past, and breaking away entirely from the shadow of our nation's darkest period."

President Begaj expressed his gratitude and appreciation for their indelible contribution to society by conveying virtues and stability.

"I want to express my deep respect and gratitude to all the martyrs of this revolt. On this historic day, the survivors of the Spa? Revolt are the best example that, despite all the suffering they experienced, they convey tolerance, wisdom, hope and kindness. For this, and for all your struggles, our society owes you a big debt", concluded the President./ CNA.al
