"Albania a trusted ally for European security"/ Minister Hoxha meets

Foreign Minister Ferit Hoxha met today in Brussels with the Vice-President of the European Commission and High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Kaja Kallas. In a reaction on the “X” platform, Minister Hoxha shared details from the meeting, while stating that Albania remains a strong and reliable partner of the European Union.

According to the Foreign Minister, Albania, as a NATO member and a candidate country for EU membership, remains ready to further contribute to European security through strengthening its capacities and readiness. During the meeting, Kallas praised Albania for its full alignment with the European Union's foreign policy, which makes Albania, among other things, a serious ally for the Union itself.

I reaffirmed Albania's full alignment with the European Union's Common Foreign and Security Policy, reflecting our unwavering commitment to the principles and responsibilities we share with our European partners.
