EU Delegation in Tirana Shares Von der Leyen's Message: Western Balkans' Approach to the Bloc Essential

The European Union Delegation to our country has shared a message from the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen.

The EC President, during her speech at the 2026 EU Ambassadors' Conference, stated that it is essential that the Western Balkans, Moldova and Ukraine move closer to the European Union.

She emphasized that enlargement is not a matter of ideology, but a matter of common European interest and security.
