Albania marks 15 years of membership in the most powerful organization of the North Atlantic Alliance.

On this occasion, the Democratic Party honors this major achievement for the country, which was realized during its governance under the leadership of the former prime minister, Sali Berisha.

To honor this day, a 23-meter-long and 6-meter-wide banner has been placed on the facade of the PD headquarters.

Albania, 15 years part of NATO/DP: An important turn for the security of the

NATO membership marked an important turning point for the country's security, ranking it alongside 32 other countries.

After the invitation in Bucharest on April 3, 2008, the North Atlantic Alliance on April 1, 2009, in a historic decision, accepted Albania as a member with full rights.

For the Albanians, after 5 decades of dictatorship, this act constitutes the greatest achievement in the political and national security fields after the declaration of independence of Albania./ CNA
