Civil Status System, "online"/ Balla: Albanians saved over 13 million

The Minister of the Interior, Taulant Balla, after the end of the government meeting, has declared that "online" services will be added to the Civil Registry system.

Balla said that the amendments to the Civil Status system law will soon be voted on in the Assembly.

Further, Balla informed that "online" services have saved Albanians 13.2 million euros.

"I have communicated the changes we made and very soon we will defend and approve in the Assembly the law on changing the address system.

Digitization for 'online' services is taken to another level.

During the last 2 years, 11.3 million digital certificates have been issued by the Civil Status offices, translated into financial value, saved from the pockets of Albanian citizens, their value as a service alone amounts to 13.2 million euros. Not including lost time.

This digital revolution in services has brought money savings from the pockets of Albanian citizens. This is the first achievement", said Balla.

Meanwhile, he called on the citizens to declare their place of residence. 

"I humbly appeal to every citizen to declare their place of residence and residence. It is a legal obligation to notify the place where they live or stay," he said./ CNA
