Prime Minister Edi Rama has stated that Albania has the opportunity to aim to become the first country with a difference from other countries in the region in tourism.

The number one of the government underlined that it is aimed to turn tourism into an industry that brings decent income for properly qualified employees.

"Albania today has the opportunity to undoubtedly aim for not only the first place with a difference from other countries in the region in tourism at the end of this decade, but it has the obligation to aim to bring an increase in income and wages.

But in order to succeed, we need to have more beautiful projects than others, which we are doing step by step, not just to have more investments per year, which is happening, it will become more pronounced, but also preparing the way to turn this industry into a decent income base for properly qualified workers.

If this did not happen, the others would be multiplied by something close to zero", said Rama./ CNA
