Hearing on Balluk and the directors/ GJKKO withdraws for decision

After many hours of hearing, the GJKKO has withdrawn from the decision on the case of Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku and directors Gentian Gjyli and Erald Elezi.

The three defendants are part of SPAK's criminal proceeding no. 136/2025, which is related to the investigations into the tender procedures for the Llogara tunnel and lot no. 4 of the Tirana Ring Road. According to the prosecution's suspicions, the winning contractors may have been predetermined.

The GJKKO imposed the measure of suspension from duty and a ban on leaving the country for former Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister of Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku. Meanwhile, the director of ARRSH, Gentian Gjylin, and the administrator of KESH, Erald Elezin, were placed under house arrest./ CNA
