Rainfall situation in Shkodra Region/ No serious emergencies, but some local

Heavy rainfall overnight and this morning has affected the Shkodra Region, but so far no serious emergencies have been reported. Emergency structures and municipalities are engaged in the field to monitor and manage the situation.

Situation by municipality:

Shkodra Municipality: Intense rainfall during the night. No problems reported, while the municipality's structures are on the ground to verify the situation.

Vau i Dejës Municipality: Rainfall continues with high intensity, but there are no reported problems.

Fushë-Arrëz Municipality: Moderate rainfall overnight. Some rural roads are blocked by mud and rocks, while some villages face power outages.

Puka Municipality: There are no reports of problems.

Lezha Regional Directorate of Water Supply and Sewerage: During the last 24 hours, about 50 mm of rain has fallen. There are no problems in the drainage canals, embankments or the Shtodër reservoir dam. The levels of the Buna, Drin, Kir, Gjadër rivers and the Shtodër reservoir are below the danger levels. The hydropower plants in Velipojë are functioning normally.

DRV Shkodra: No problems with road traffic are reported.
