Today's hearing for Balluku and the directors/ Gentian Gjyli and Erald

The Special Court against Corruption and Organized Crime (SCOC) is holding a court session today, at 09:00, to question and verify the conditions of the security measure for Belinda Balluku, Gentian Gjyli and Erald Elezin.

The three defendants are part of SPAK's criminal proceeding no. 136/2025, which is related to the investigations into the tender procedures for the Llogara tunnel and lot no. 4 of the Tirana Grand Ring Road. According to the prosecution's suspicions, the winning contractors may have been predetermined.

Two days ago, the GJKKO imposed the measure of suspension from duty and a ban on leaving the country for former Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister of Infrastructure, Belinda Balluku. Meanwhile, the director of the ARRSH, Gentian Gjylin, and the administrator of KESH, Erald Elezin, were placed under house arrest.

Balluku is being investigated in connection with the tender procedures for the Llogara tunnel and the Grand Ring Road project, and is accused of "violating equality in tenders."/ CNA
