Today's heavy rains have kept river flows in the Fier region at high levels, increasing the risk of flooding. Although a decrease in the level of the Vjosa River has been recorded in Memaliaj, the situation appears to be worsening in the area of ??the Mifoli Bridge.
According to the latest measurements, the level of the Vjosa has reached 8.2 meters, marking a significant increase. If the flows continue at the same intensity, the level is expected to rise further, which could cause problems in low-lying areas, agricultural lands and even some homes.
