Weather situation in the country/IGJEUM: Weekend with intense rainfall in some

According to the forecast of meteorological conditions by the Institute of Geosciences, intense rainfall is expected to accompany several regions of the country during the weekend.

Also, this weekend, in areas with altitudes above 900 meters above sea level, precipitation will be in the form of snow.

Precipitation:

Tomorrow, Saturday, November 22, intense rainfall is expected in the districts of Shkodër, Vlorë and Gjirokastër, while moderate to locally intense rainfall is expected in the districts of Kukës, Dibër, Lezhë, Durrës, Tirana and Elbasan. Moderate rainfall is expected in the other districts.

Throughout the territory, precipitation will be accompanied by thunderstorms. In the North and East, at altitudes above 900 m above sea level, precipitation will be in the form of snow.

Temperature:

Tomorrow, minimum and maximum air temperatures are expected to reach:

on the coast: 14 / 15 °C

in lowlands: 12 / 15 °C

in mountainous areas: 7 / 11 °C

Wind:

On Saturday, the wind is expected to blow moderate to strong, mainly on the coast./CNA
