Rainfall has caused damage to the escarpment at the entrance to the Pogradec Ring Road.
The municipality has notified all drivers that the entrance segment to the city ring road, when going from Qafë Thana, will be temporarily closed, due to the risk of falling rocks.
In the announcement made, the municipality says that work to improve the situation will continue tomorrow.
NOTICE
All drivers are hereby notified that the entrance segment of the Pogradec Ring Road, coming from Qafë Thana towards the city, will be temporarily closed to traffic due to the risk of falling rocks, as a result of damage to part of the escarpment from recent rainfall. We emphasize only the entrance to the Ring Road.
Field workers will continue work tomorrow to stabilize and improve the hillside. The opening of this segment will be announced at a later date, once the works are complete and safety is guaranteed.
