"Teenagers out of control"/ Kikia: At school with knives and

Journalist Mentor Kikia commented today on the concern over the behavior of teenagers in school environments, following today's injury of a young man in a school in Durrës.

Invited to Euronews Albania, Kikia said that this is a familiar scenario, as many teenagers go to school with knives, screwdrivers and guns.

According to the journalist, these cases are alarming, as even teachers are powerless in dealing with such situations.  

"It's the same scenario with teenagers who argue over comments on social networks, then end up in group fights. Such stories happen frequently in our environment and society and unfortunately are not considered to be alarm bells. They are not sporadic or isolated cases, on the contrary they are massive. It also shows the inability and helplessness of teachers because their kind who go around with knives to explain themselves to each other after quarrels on social networks do not allow teachers and a good part of healthy teachers who want to devote themselves to knowledge to teach. There are families who are totally uninterested in education and they throw their children out of school. We see teenagers who get out of hand. Teenagers who go to school with knives, screwdrivers or even with such weapons. It is the families' fault", - said Kikia./CNA
