Gender Equality Law/ Researcher: The attempt to impose it will fail, the

Theology scholar Kaon Serjani, invited to Top Channel, spoke about the gender equality law and the leaflet distributed in one of Tirana's schools.

Serjani said that there is an immediate withdrawal of the administration and this indicates that the attempt at imposition will fail.

The researcher stated that there is a huge contradiction between the law's imposition of gender equality and parental rights also guaranteed by law.

Parents' opposition to the gender equality law, Serjani said, will create social chaos.

 

" We have an immediate withdrawal of the administration. Imagine if the conversation went to the children, if it was in the curriculum. This shows that this attempt at imposition will fail."

The mass reaction and withdrawal shows that the school is not prepared to address it.

There is a huge contradiction between the imposition of the law and the parental right guaranteed by another law.

"Parents say we don't want this imposition at school, this will create social chaos ," said Serjani.
