UN report/ SPAK, the most reliable institution in Albania

The UN has conducted a survey in Albania on trust in institutions during the end of 2023

About 2,500 people participated in the survey , who were asked about trust in state institutions, transparency, accountability and civic involvement.

SPAK is the most reliable institution in Albania. SPAK, included in the survey for the first time in 2022, marked a notable increase of 10% compared to the previous year.

The data also show that SPAK is the institution that citizens perceive as the most effective in dealing with corruption

The data show that the least trusted institutions are political parties, parliament, as well as courts and prosecutors.

The opposite happens with international organizations such as the UN (74.3%) and the EU. Albanians also express great trust in religious institutions.

Political parties - 25.5%

Parliament - 29.1%

Courts - 33.4%

Prosecutor's Office - 33.7%

The most trusted institutions in Albania for 2023

EU - 74.7%

UN - 74.3%

Religious institutions - 67%

SPAK - 60.3%

Civil society - 55.7%./ CNA
