The member of the Municipal Council, Ilir Alimehmeti, stated that Erion Veliaj during the meeting of the Council treated the members as if they were common criminals, where in fact according to Alimehmeti, they are the ones who steal and rob the citizens every day.

Alimehmeti emphasizes that it is the criminals who are hiding behind the armored doors, behind the many police forces, and not the councilors of the municipality.

He added that the councilors are not asking for anything more than transparency, they are asking for community meetings so that the money is not stolen.

"The municipal councilors were being treated like common criminals except for the control part, let's say, which may not be roblem, but the body control without having any order, no problem, nor concern, as if they are common criminals, this is offensive and shows the true face of Erion Veliaj and the Municipality of Tirana towards the citizens, considers them as criminals who will harm the municipality when in fact they are the ones who are stealing and robbing it day by day.
