Violence against the lawyer Sokol Mêngjesi/ The prosecution wants prison

The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has demanded prison terms for the 2 arrested for the violence against lawyer Sokol Mêngjesi, an event that happened a few days ago in the area of ??the former Block in Tirana. 

It is reported that the Prosecutor's Office has requested the "prison arrest" measure for Dritan Nano, who is suspected to have been the organizer of the attack, and for one of the perpetrators, Dorian Alia. 

The incident happened on the morning of May 29 in the area of ??the former block, where the lawyer was hit by several people who have been identified by the police as Dorian Alia, Drivald Alia, Romario Tabaku and Elton Kasaj, while Dritan Nano was arrested as the person who commissioned the brutal act.

Dorian Alia, 32, turned himself in after the incident, giving evidence that confirmed police suspicions of Dritan Nano's involvement.

Nano, 58 years old, is accused of having organized the violence after he refused to liquidate the lawyer according to a signed contract, after Morning won the trial for the property of a family with 8 heirs, where today the towers of the Lake Dam are built. Meanwhile, the other three perpetrators are still being sought.

The police are continuing the search for the perpetrators, where they have made available 20,000 euros for anyone who provides information about the perpetrators.

Lawyer Sokol Mëngjesi is in a coma at the Trauma Hospital.
