With a suitcase and a box of documents/ Ilir Beqaj takes the investigation file

The former Minister of Health, Ilir Beqaj, went to SPAK this Friday.

He came out of the Special Prosecutor's Office with a suitcase and a box filled with documents from the investigative file on the "Sterilization" corruption affair.

Beqaj retrieved a part of the investigative file a few weeks ago with a "hard disk", after he asked to see the documents.

Earlier it was announced that SPAK had set a figure of 10 million lek per person who wanted to withdraw the files of the investigative file.

We remind you that the Special Court has given the security measure "compulsion to appear" and "prohibition of exiting the country", for the former minister for the charge of "abuse of duty", for the concession of sterilization of surgical equipment.

Former Deputy Minister of Health, Klodjan Rjepaj and businessman Ilir Rrapaj were arrested for this matter. They are under investigation for "abuse of duty" and "forgery of documents". Both are in the cell, while the court rejected their request for freedom./ CNA
