The political leader of the DP for Tirana, Belind Kelliçi, has denounced the new scandal involving Erion Veliaj.

In an interview, Kelliçi stated that on May 28, Veliaj paid two invoices in favor of the 5D company.

He denounced that the 5D company still makes millions.

Kelliçi further underlined that what Veliaj is doing to justice and the citizens of Tirana is a shame and a disgrace.

"For a project that I denounced when I was a candidate, the dry lake project. He had undertaken to build a bicycle lane. The works had a deadline of 6 months to complete, starting in 2022.

Today, as we are in May 2024, not a shovel has been thrown and for this, 307 thousand euros have been paid by the citizens of Tirana to the 5D company for unfinished work.
