Accusations of Ahmetaj/Rama: Dirty source, should not be taken seriously
Edi Rama and Arben Ahmetaj

Prime Minister Edi Rama, in the interview for "RAI3", was asked about the accusations raised by former Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj on the hidden camera of Italian television.

Journalist Giorgio Mottola, without revealing Ahmetaj's name, told him that a former exponent of the government had claimed that the head of the government had allowed cannabis because it brings growth to the economy.

Rama said that such people should not be taken seriously, while he claimed that these accusations come only because the government no longer protects him.

"I don't know who you talked to, but I wouldn't trust those who speak because the seat of power no longer warms them. I think so. They are not people who should be taken seriously, but can only be pitied", he said.

Rama did not spare Ahmetaj, even when he was asked about the statement that the prime minister had held meetings in his office with the heads of criminal organizations.

"The same source told him?! Then it must be a thoroughly polluted source and it must be problems with justice. We have a saying in Albania, 'there is no forest without pigs'", emphasized the head of the government./ CNA
