The accusations against Olsi Rama were one of the topics that Prime Minister Edi Rama discussed with the journalist of "Rai3" during the interview for the Italian media.

Rama said that he has left his brother's case in the hands of justice, while he said that there is no evidence for the charges raised.

According to him, the charges against Olsi Rama were raised only because of their family relationship.

Excerpt from the interview:

Rai3: We have also mentioned your brother, Olsi Rama...

Rama:  Which is another disgusting intervention in the life of someone who has no connection, in the life of someone who is only accused of being my brother, because the fact does not exist. Also, he has filed a lawsuit and now I hope that this will also be clarified by the Special Prosecutor's Office. Yes, do you understand? You are the Italian public service, you are not an Albanian channel that does as it pleases, because, at the end of the day, to talk about such things is to say that, brother, aaa has been accused... Accused by whom, accused of what ? Then where is the evidence? Then, these "evidences" are now, I hope, under investigation.

Rai3: I know that the investigation after the show has been reopened.

Rama:  They are under investigation, as he filed a lawsuit for defamation, so this should be left to justice. But to take things like that and make a mosaic of pieces that are all half-truths. They are all half-truths and therefore half-truths are the biggest lies, the biggest deceptions./ CNA
