Rama against the increase in judges' salaries/ Shehaj: He does it on

Economics expert Brisida Shehaj commented on the situation regarding the request for a salary increase by judges and the reactions to the case from Prime Minister Edi Rama.

In a show on "Syri TV", Shehaj said that it is not about saving from state finances, but described it as a deliberate action by Rama, to distribute the money in areas of his own choosing.

"This has nothing to do with finances. He is doing it specifically and with castile, this whole cause he raises. Yes. Are you saying that you feel sorry for Edi Rama for 37 million euros? We are talking about a structure that does not have an organic structure. It does not have a complete organic structure.

So, as long as there is no complete organic structure, it would be enough for these people because when the Supreme Court went to report, the Supreme Court and the Constitutional Court went to report, but I read the Supreme Court, the Supreme Court's report with great interest.

If I'm not mistaken, a judge in the EU, where I know, had 15 to 18 files, the norm, huh. Ours had 100 to 200. So, with the way the staff is lacking today, our judges should have difficulty working for the work that is being done, for evading those files and issuing decisions. Just thinking about that and considering the money he saves by not filling that staff, there was no need to do this at all.

Despite the fact that those prosecutors were brave at a certain moment and did that thing, but it is not the will and interests that are being worked for Albania by SPAK, so that we understand, what I think. And in this kind of situation he is creating a, a public conflict, as if he cut his stomach for the 37 million euros he is mocking. He is mocking 37 million euros.

"So he spends the budgets according to his whim on things that have not produced anything, because this country today has no GDP from the economy. So there is no GDP from government investments," said Shehaj./ CNA
