Rama: We will produce uniforms for NATO armies in Albania

The head of government, Edi Rama, has stated that soon in Albania the company "Guna" will begin production for Albanian state uniforms, starting with the army.

Rama said that this company will serve other NATO countries' armies. Among other things, he spoke about the integration of Artificial Intelligence in governance, where he announced the introduction of Artificial Intelligence agents in the finance and legal services sectors in the ministry.

According to him, this will bring speed, professional integrity and quality to all acts related to finance and legal services.

Among other things, he added that Artificial Intelligence has also helped the tax and customs administration to identify where the problems are.

"The other company created that will soon produce its first products is "Guna" which will produce all the uniforms of the Albanian state, starting with the army. The Swedish army produces uniforms in Albania, but in the meantime the Albanian state was involved in all kinds of tenders. Today we have this company that will produce uniforms for the army, the police and will also produce for other NATO armies.

The first phase of our governance was the transition from the stone age to the digital age with the creation of platforms. The second phase was the digitalization of services. Now we are in the third phase, which is the phase of intelligent administration. Today we have launched the project of introducing AI agents at the first level of governance. We started with the ministries and the finance and legal services sectors of the ministries by engaging a special structure to switch to the use of AI agents, to give speed and professional integrity and quality to all acts related to finance and legal services.

"We are using AI in approximation with EU legislation, but we are using it in taxes. The AI ??platform helps the tax and customs administration to see where the problems are," Rama said. /CNA
