Taxes, coercive measures for entities that do not meet obligations/ Account

The Tax Administration has taken enforcement measures for all taxpayers who do not fulfill their legal obligations, including entities referred to the Prosecutor's Office and those who create new tax liabilities after 31.12.2024, which do not benefit from the law on the deletion and extinguishment of tax liabilities.

Within the framework of these measures, the specialized structures of the Tax Administration have moved from blocking bank accounts to seizing debtors' assets, to the full settlement of liabilities.

"The Tax Administration recalls that enforcement measures will continue against all taxpayers who do not fulfill their legal obligations, including entities referred to the Prosecutor's Office and those who create new tax liabilities after 31.12.2024, which do not benefit from the law on the deletion and extinguishment of tax liabilities."

Within the framework of these measures, the specialized structures of the Tax Administration have moved from blocking bank accounts to seizing debtors' assets, to the full settlement of liabilities.

Such is the case of a taxpayer in Tirana with unpaid tax liabilities worth 6.4 million euros, from whom 8 luxury vehicles were seized, including a McLaren, Mercedes-Benz and BMW.
