The lies and public deception of the arrested mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, and his group regarding the claims and accusations against prosecutor Ols Dado, have reached their 284th day.

These are frauds committed not only by Veliaj himself, but also by his soldier Mero Baze and other media and public fraudsters, paid for by the money from the scandals of the "5D" affair, the incinerators and the mayor's brother, Arbër Veliaj.

Although 284 days have passed, neither Veliaj, nor his family's journalist, Mero Baze, nor his lawyers have published any facts or documents that substantiate the claims about prosecutor Ols Dado, who according to them requested additional information on the construction permit and, having received the alleged refusal from Veliaj, has launched investigations against the mayor.

For 284 days, CNA has continuously demanded that Mero Baze, Erion Veliaj and his lawyers publish the document signed by Ols Dado for an addition to the construction permit and the mayor's signed refusal for this permit.

As we have previously stated, these claims and accusations are nothing more than an attack on justice. Veliaj, who is facing 13 charges for 5 serious criminal offenses, claims a conflict of interest and has not released any documents for months.

Veliaj and his soldiers lie publicly about Ols Dado, who has passed the vetting process and has become part of the Special Prosecution. While on the other hand, Veliaj himself, in the first investigations he conducted, raised no less than 13 serious criminal charges.

Veliaj's claims

In point 135, Veliaj says that prosecutor Ols Dado obtained a building permit from the Municipality of Tirana and then requested an addition to the permit and this was refused.

While in point 136 of the document without a seal and signature, Erion treats this as a matter of "revenge" on the part of prosecutor Ols Dado, because, according to him, he was not granted a construction permit for the addition after he made a request.

Mero Baze's claim

Mero Baze says that, according to him, the investigation against Veliaj is being insistently requested by a prosecutor, who months ago had a personal conflict with him, regarding his requests for a construction permit outside the legal criteria that the municipality had.

These are lies from Veliaj, his defense lawyers and his family's journalist, Mero Baze, and in 284 days, while the truth is only one; the mayor of Tirana, who has been in the cells of Durrës prison for about 15 months, has consumed serious criminal offenses: corruption, abuse of office, laundering criminal proceeds, bringing prohibited items into the cell and concealing assets.
