Journalist Artan Hoxha spoke this evening regarding the protest that took place yesterday evening in front of the Prime Minister's Office and which then moved to the parliament.

Invited to "Now with Erla Mëhillin", Hoxha also commented on Prime Minister Edi Rama's reaction to the clashes and incidents recorded during the protest. The journalist said that the government's reactions are trying to shift attention from the true essence of the protest.

"We know what kind of situation the government is in. We also know that these kinds of protests are insufficient to overthrow the government. So far, even in previous protests, the people who were arrested have been released by the court. So the court has not found that these people arrested in the protests are dangerous. IN a situation where we have protesters and trained police, the main part is the police because they are trained for these situations. You cannot react in that kind of way, when they do not pose a threat. Even when a Molotov cocktail is thrown, the police have the information that anything can happen. It is not so dangerous and unmanageable for the prime minister to say this is the most violent party. Look at the protests in the countries around. It is the determination that makes the protesters shake the foundations of the government. Instead of dealing with the message that the protests bring and the dissatisfaction, the government deals with the balance of the injured, the Molotov cocktails.
