Prosecutors should not sleep on files/ Fundo: Tirana landfill is on the verge of disaster

Journalist Elvi Fundi said today that prosecutors should not sleep on the incinerator files, given the situation with incinerators in the country.

Invited to an interview on 'Syri Tv', Fundo said that the Tirana landfill is on the verge of disaster.

"It's also good for Veliaj that he can receive the punishment. Dritan Prenço should not sleep on the incinerator files either. But the Tirana landfill is on the verge of disaster. In these high temperatures, we should pray to God for some rain, considering the situation with the incinerators," Fundo said.

Commenting on the important files that are before the courts, in addition to the incinerator file, Fundo also focused on the file of the mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj.  

"Those who say they have the same standards as Berisha and others are lying. The same situation is with Ilir Meta. They cannot destroy evidence. The wiretaps showed that Veliaj was not only destroying evidence, but also making threats," Fundo said. /CNA
