The Ministry of Defense, based on the information received from the experts of the Institute of Geosciences, which states that heavy rains are expected during the day and problems with flooding or rapid river flooding may occur, has called on them to all municipalities to take measures to prevent floods or landslides.

According to the announcement, high intensity rainfall is expected in Shkodër, Lezhë, Durrës, Tirana, Fier and Vlorë districts.

In the above-mentioned counties, there may be flash floods of small mountain rivers and landslides.

In urban areas, localized flooding problems may occur in these counties, depending on the condition of the sewers.

" Based on the information received from the experts of the Institute of Geosciences, starting from the early hours of Tuesday, high intensity rainfall is expected in our country in the counties of Shkodër, Lezhë, Durres, Tirana, Fier and Vlorë.

Average rainfall is expected in most other regions of the country, accompanied by thunderstorms. In the above-mentioned counties, there may be flash floods of small mountain rivers and landslides.
