A protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office against construction in Zvërnec has been ongoing for about three hours. The protesters have called for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, while earlier they rejected his invitation for dialogue.
This is the third protest in a row to be held on this issue. The protests were called after the events that took place on May 30 in Zvërnec, where there were clashes between citizens and employees of a private security company.
Regarding this issue, Prime Minister Edi Rama stated that the events that took place there were serious, while condemning the violence against the protesters. Among other things, he emphasized that such large investments are for the good of the country and increase the Gross National Product. /CNA
