The Prosecutor's Office of Tirana has denied the news that circulated the day before in the media regarding the economic and financial crime boss Erion Ismaili.

In a clarification, Porkuroia has indicated that no investigative actions have been initiated against this citizen.

The Prosecutor's Office at the Judicial District Court of Tirana, being triggered by the interest of various media, as well as by the news that have circulated in the media and media portals, regarding the citizen Erion Ismaili with the position of Head of the Sector for the Investigation of Economic and Financial Crime, considers it necessary to inform the public opinion that this news is not true.

The Prosecutor's Office at the Tirana Judicial District Court has not started investigative actions against the citizen Erion Ismaili in relation to the criminal case no. 2306 of 2023, where the citizens ES, FQ and MK were arrested
