"Without unity, there is no future"/ Religious clerics give blessings

The third day of the IV Summit began with the "Breakfast of Fraternity" where representatives of religious communities gave messages of unity and their congratulations.

Dr. Rifat Halili, as the keynote speaker of this event, addressed the global crisis and underlined the importance of faith as a force that helps people face challenges. He also emphasized the need to strengthen unity and protect the Albanian people, as well as their rights.

“A world in crisis, a call for awareness. Narratives divide, fear replaces faith. When the world darkens, people of faith must bring faith. We must provide a model. Albanians are proof of the possibility of coexistence. Our history is not perfect, but it is filled with moments when religion and nation were seen as pillars supporting each other. What has happened to us should not define who we are, but what we commit to making Albania better. The nation must depend on responsibility, work for the future we build. The greatest reward is what brings its inner spiritual transportation. By building Albania, we enrich the soul. The diaspora is sacrifice, preservation of the Albanian spirit. Albanians have preserved faith, tradition, dignity. A nation that preserves its spirit is never lost. Let us say that we will preserve our dignity, we will cultivate respect. Without dignity there is no unity and without unity "There is no future. God, give us strength to defend our people and our rights. Unite us and make us exemplary!" said Imam Halili.

The world's Bakteshian patriarch Baba Mondi wished for unity and blessed the Albanian flag.

"Give us the wisdom to build a more just and humane world through faith and respect. On this morning of blessings, may we emerge from here more united, stronger in spirit and more committed to the common good. May God bless us all, bless Albania and our wonderful flag!" said Baba Mondi.

Don Kastriot Idrizi from the Catholic Community in Brussels prayed for Albanians around the world and called on them not to lose hope and to maintain love for one another.

"Let us pray for Albanians everywhere in the world, our precious diaspora, those who have left their homeland in search of a better life, those who build the future with sacrifice, for parents and the elderly who preserve their roots. May they not lose hope, may they preserve their love for each other and may they feel protected and at peace. Guide the minds of those who bear public responsibility so that their decisions are in the interest of peace," he said.

At the conclusion of the “Brotherhood Breakfast”, the messages conveyed by representatives of religious communities brought a common call for unity, faith and hope. In a time of global challenges, it was emphasized that the strength of spirit, solidarity and love for each other remain the strongest foundation for moving forward./ CNA
