Today, the next protest will take place in front of the Municipality of Tirana, where the citizens will again demand the resignation of the mayor Erion Veliaj.
The protest will start at 11:00. The action is organized by the Alliance for the Protection of the Theatre, where representatives from the DP will be present as well as well-known art figures.
The protests in front of this municipality are taking place because of the scandals that happened in this institution, such as the incinerator affair and the "5D" file, where a number of directors were arrested after SPAK investigations. The citizens insistently demand that Veliaj be brought to justice.
Even Veliaj himself was questioned by SPAK about the affair of the incinerators, while the investigations of its directors have been deepened.
