Roads in Vaqarr, Peze and Ndroq, 1.6 million euros for rehabilitation

Four roads that are part of Vaqarr, Peze and Ndroq units will be rehabilitated according to a contract after the tender is closed.

The municipality of Tirana announced in the procurement system that it had signed a contract with LTE Constuksion, which offered a value of 165 million lek or 1.6 million euros without VAT for the implementation of the works. Referring to the documents that accompanied the initial procedure, the details of the roads where there will be intervention are also given.

The first is Burgut village Vaqarr road, then the road has a length of 600 linear meters and a width of 5 meters.

"This road axis accesses the Vaqarri Prison and the asphalt package is completely missing. In some segments, the road has major damages and the exchange of two cars is almost impossible for most of the length of the road," the document states.

The second road is the road of the village of Mënik, Ndroq, which is 2700 meters long and 3-3.5 meters wide. The road is gravel, and the existing bridge is of plank and metal construction. According to the document, the asphalt package is completely missing.

The third is the road to Ura Tabakes (to Ambulance Peza Helma). The road has a length of 600 ml. The road has a cushioned gravel layer. The asphalt package is completely missing and in rainy weather the road becomes almost inaccessible.

The last one is the road on the Erzen coast, Peze. The road is 900 meters long and has a damaged ballast layer. The entrance part of the road has damaged asphalt.

The company in question will need to complete the works for the rehabilitation of the roads in these units in a period of six months, while in parallel the interventions in some administrative units for problematic roads according to some procedures developed during these months by the municipality./ Monitor.al
