The "nightmare" on the Tirana-Elbasan/Balluku axis finds the solution

The number two of the government, at the same time the Minister of Infrastructure and Energy, Belinda Balluku has spoken in the Commission for Production Activity about the problem of one of the main axes connecting with the Southeast, that of the Tirana-Elbasan axis, which is busy most of the time from the traffic.

Balluku said that due to the influx of visitors to the Southeast, this axis often faces heavy traffic.

For this reason, Balluku stated that the construction of the bypass of Elbasan is necessary, a project that was started on time but was delayed due to the bad borrower. Now she says that a new borrower has been found and the project will start.

"Korça has a consolidated rhythm which was not related to the season, it is a tourist place where the citizens of Tirana, Durrës and others visit it constantly. Due to the traffic on the weekend, we saw the need to build the bypass of Elbasan, which we started a long time ago. We had a delayed process due to the lender due to which we lost several years from this project. We are proceeding with a new lender", said Balluku./CNA
