One of the protest hotspots/ Parliament surrounded by metal fence

Police continue to "armor" the buildings where today's opposition protest is expected to take place. A metal fence has been placed in front of the Albanian Parliament building, a place where clashes between police and protesters were recorded last time.

Meanwhile, earlier, measures were taken to fortify the door of the Prime Minister's Office building with metal bars, as has happened in previous protests.

Regarding the protest, the Tirana police announced that, considering the fact that in the previous rally there were masked citizens who threw Molotov cocktails and pyrotechnics, injuring police officers, they will not take responsibility for the rally. However, they have taken measures by restricting some road segments based on the law on gatherings. /CNA
