Protests start in front of Tirana City Hall.

Hundreds of citizens amid high temperatures demand the resignation of Erion Veliaj and his placement in justice for the corrupt affairs in this institution.

Citizens chant in unison: "Veliaj is a thief". 

In his speech at the protest, Dorian Teliti said that they will not withdraw until Tirana returns to legality. 

"There will be no amnesty for Veliaj and his team. The Tirana incinerator procedure must be canceled, the Albanians are still paying money. Why does SPAK not take the next step to cancel this contract? We will not leave this office until the departure of Veliaj", said Dorian Teliti./ CNA
