The Regional Head, Spiro Hunçi, informs that the established groups will verify every suspicious case.

"Veterinarians are in constant contact. They have been notified, they have been warned to notify the local veterinary offices immediately for any suspicious cases they notice. We are following the situation on the ground. We certainly set up a working group, in cooperation with the police. We will continue. Currently, we do not have any cases", said Spiro Hunçi.

If plague cases have not yet been identified in our country, those with brucellosis are active. A new hearth has recently appeared in a small cattle stable in the Korca area.

Beyond the concern that has involved the authorities and the local consumer, it is reported that the citizens are not at risk of plague and brucellosis, since controlled meat is sold in stores and markets./ CNA
