CNA has reported the situation of the high flow created at this border point, while today the same situation continues with waiting several minutes at the customs to enter Albania.

Through several interviews with citizens coming from North Macedonia and other European countries, it appears the great interest of vacationers who want to spend a few days in the south of our country. Vlora and Saranda remain the two cities that are preferred by visitors because of the beauty and the fantastic coast that the south offers.

The Albanians of North Macedonia show that they often come to Albania for vacations, but there are also those citizens who choose it for the first time because of suggestions received from their friends in Albania.

"We are only going to Tirana for 1 day. We live in Switzerland and this time is the first time we pass through Qafë-Thana. We have decided the holidays, we are thinking of going to Vlorë. Durrës is closer but the water is not so clean , Vlora is more beautiful", said a tourist.

"We are from Tetova and we are going to Ksamil. We thought there would be so much traffic, but I think we pass by very quickly. It is the first time I go to the south of Albania. I have many friends there, that's why we chose it," he said. another.

Even foreign citizens, coming from countries such as Turkey, Switzerland and France, have chosen Albania to spend a few days of vacation. They say that it is the first time they come to Albania, while they want to stay a little more than 5 days in the south of the country.

"We were walking around all the Balkan countries and Albania was a visit along the way. We went to Greece, North Macedonia, we also came to Albania. We also went to Montenegro and Serbia. We have come for vacation from Turkey. We didn't wait long here, only a few minutes. It is the first time I am in Albania", said one of them.

The high flow of citizens was during the morning and evening hours, according to the customs authorities at this border point.

It is learned that in order to avoid queues and waiting, the authorities are working with full counters, while they are also working with an accelerated procedure in cases of extremely high flow. /CNA
