The following day, the Alliance for the Protection of the Theater, supported by the opposition, will be protesting in front of the Tirana City Hall, to demand the resignation of the mayor, Erion Veliaj.

The leaders of the protest have declared that they will not withdraw without removing from office the mayor and the chief thief of Tirana, the de facto owner of the incinerator and the 5D organization, Erion Veliajn.

The criticisms of Prime Minister Edi Rama himself, regarding the scandals that occurred in the country's largest City Hall, have not been missing.

Rama did not spare Erion Veliaj, as he encouraged the SPAK Special Prosecutor's Office, "to draw out the black water" from corruption, referring to Mayor Veliaj himself.

The prime minister, also in relation to the thieving directors of Erion Veliaj, has called them traitors, cowards and corrupt. Rama came to the defense of SPAK and motivated him to continue with the investigations. 

In the last protest held in front of Tirana City Hall, the citizens were angry with Veliaj. There were no shortage of clashes between them and the police, after they tried to enter the building. They demand the immediate resignation of Mayor Veliaj. 

On the other hand, Veliaj appeared "tanned" and worried in the media appearances, even though he tried to "cover" the scandal with propaganda./ CNA
