Local weather/IGJEUM: Saturday and Sunday with intense rain

The Institute of Geosciences has shared a forecast for weather conditions for this Saturday afternoon and Sunday, as intense rainfall is expected to continue this weekend.

According to the forecast, rainfall will continue to affect parts of the country, while strong winds and a drop in temperatures are expected.

Precipitation:

This afternoon (Saturday, November 22) and tomorrow (Sunday, November 23) moderate to locally intense rainfall is expected in the regions of Shkodër, Lezhë, Durrës, Elbasan, Vlorë and Gjirokastër, while moderate rainfall is expected in the regions of Kukës, Dibër and Tirana. Light to locally moderate rainfall is expected in the regions of Fier, Berat and Korçë. Throughout the territory, rainfall will be accompanied by thunderstorms.

Temperature:

Tomorrow, minimum and maximum air temperatures are expected to reach:

On the coast: 4 / 11 °C

In lowlands: 9 / 11 °C

In mountainous areas: 4 / 8 °C

Wind:
