"The message is clear"/ Këlliçi: The use of gas and stun

Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi has reacted to the opposition protest that took place in front of the Prime Minister's Office and the Parliament.

Këlliçi states in his reaction that the use of tear gas and stun grenades shows, according to him, Prime Minister Edi Rama's panic.

According to the MP, protesters were injured in the incidents and police reactions, and some of them were escorted to the police station. He stated, among other things, that citizens and democrats are not backing down.

Full reaction:

Police violence against protesters, citizens, and MPs, and the use of military equipment such as tear gas and stun grenades, show the severe nervous state and panic of the most thieving Prime Minister in Europe.

This phase-out is bringing deterioration and much irreparable damage to the country.

Police brutality also injured journalists, a News24 operator was seriously endangered, and residents living near the Parliament area were also affected.

Initial reports indicate protesters are receiving assistance in hospitals and also being forcibly escorted to police stations.

With these acts, Edi Rama is not going to calm the anger and revolt, on the contrary, he is sowing even more resentment and dissatisfaction among the people.

Citizens and democrats showed tonight that they are standing firm, they are not backing down. The courage that the protesters have today is the fear of Edi Rama, the most corrupt prime minister in Europe.

The message is clear.

Citizens and democrats do not retreat.

Edi Rama will leave!  /CNA
