The scandal with the release of TIMS system data is the headline these days after the arrest of the IT director in the State Police, Ervin Muça.

Some of Muça's subordinates, mostly specialists, have shown how they were ordered by their boss to extract data.

These testimonies, which are disclosed in the investigation file of SPAK, were published in Klodiana Lala's show, "Në Shënjestre".

One of the specialists confesses that Muca came to the office and ordered two of her colleagues to close access to the head of the sector, but the latter had opposed them.

"On August 2, around 3:00 p.m., the director Ervin Muça came to the office, who asked two of the specialists to close the access to the head of the sector and in the future to report only to him, that is, to the director. But before 5 minutes passed, an email came to our addresses from the address of Ardi Muço, where he wrote to us not to do any process related to the back up of data in the TIMS system. This is because, according to him, it is prohibited and the responsibility is individual", the GS specialist testified

This was also confirmed by the AV specialist, who stated that:

"On August 2, 2023, the director called me and told me to go to his office. Where he asked me to make a copy of the data related to the back up of the TIMS system and other systems that are part of the back up. From my side, no copy of the database has ever been forwarded to anyone. On this date, I have to say that an external employee, acquaintance of the director Ervin Muça, tried to carry out the back up process, but failed in this process".

Meanwhile, the specialist Xh.Ç confessed that the data transfer operation was not completed.

"During the time that A. V was sitting at my computer to back up, at this moment a person from AKSHI came to the office, who came there to help my colleague. Meanwhile, according to the director's order, I had to stay there the whole time, to learn how the process was carried out. Which I did until 20.30, as the process was not closing. From what I learned, the data export was only done to the extent of 500 mgb. But not all of them, as something was wrong", testified Xh. Ç.

The next day, the official told the Police Supervision Agency that a colleague had informed her over the phone that they had stayed until midnight at the institution and that the process had not been completed. While in the office, on her computer, she also found on the table the Hard Disk that the director Ervin Muça had given her the day before, the Hard Disk that would be used to dump the system data. But when she checked it, she realized that it was empty and had no data saved.
