The wife of Mayor Erion Veliaj, Ajola Xoxa, has appeared in the Special Court. In the Appeal of the GJKKO, Judge Engert Pëllumbi will review Xoxa's appeal for the seizure of her phone and bank accounts. On March 10, the GJKKO postponed the hearing until today after the SPAK presented new evidence.
The Special Court has imposed on February 12 the security measure "Compulsory appearance" for Ajola Xoxa, accused of corruption, money laundering and concealment of assets.
Earlier, Xoxa was placed under house arrest./ CNA
