The fire that broke out this afternoon in the village of Bratë, Bicaj Administrative Unit, in Kukës, has been completely neutralized. According to the Fire Protection and Rescue Service of the Municipality of Kukës, the situation has been brought under control and there is currently no longer a risk of the flames spreading to other areas.

The fire had broken out at the village's urban waste dump, endangering the Gjallica mountain and the area of ??the Korab-Koritnik National Park. 15 firefighters, a fire truck, 10 municipal employees, and local residents who contributed as volunteers to cope with the situation were deployed on the ground.
