The Inspectorate of Territorial Protection, Tirana Municipality, reacted today after SPAK and the Police carried out a coordinated action and arrested two employees for accepting bribes, while 2 others were declared wanted.

Through a statement, IMT condemns the serious violation committed by its employees, while noting that following this action, they were also dismissed from their duties.

"In light of the incident that occurred today, where three employees of the Territory Protection Inspectorate seriously violated the law, we inform public opinion that our institution firmly condemns this case.

Such behavior is unacceptable and IMT completely distances itself from these individual actions. All necessary administrative measures have been immediately taken against the individuals involved, including their dismissal from duty.

"IMT encourages law enforcement agencies to fully cooperate and punish the case according to the law, and encourages every citizen to report similar cases, so that no shadow of doubt remains about the integrity of the institution and its mission," the reaction states./CNA
