Former Tourism turned into a public bath / Residents of Pogradec, for CNA TV: It
The former Tourism building

The former old Tourism in Pogradec has turned into a "cancer" for the city of Pogradec for almost 30 years. The residents of the city tell the CNA TV camera that the building that once had its glory, today has turned into an ugly object that does not help tourism and, moreover, according to them, it is used as a public bath, which endangers the health of the citizens. , in addition to disfiguring the panorama of the southeastern city.

"These are very ugly, they do not serve tourism and people enter there, use it as a bathroom", said one of the citizens.

"Tourism has been very good, Italians, Germans, used to come here then. But the owners, the old ones, have died, these young people don't care", said another.

"At the time of Enver, this was the best tourism in Pogradec, but now I heard that it has ten owners. It is covered in dirt," said another resident.

Citizens are appealing for a dignified building to be built in that area to serve the city and tourism.

"It should be a touristic building with floors, prepared with the lake. They even conceived it, they filmed it on Facebook, with floors, very beautiful, I hope they realize it", said a resident.

The old former Tourism is an asset, part of which has been returned to the former owners, another part has benefited from privatizations, an asset with an area of ??about 12 thousand square meters and was owned by Irfan Hysenbelli, since the latter was the client of Lulzim Basha and the opposition court.

As these pictures also show, this area is in urgent need of development and the buildings, sewage, garbage must disappear immediately, as the building has turned into a waste collection area, which is also contaminating the waters of the lake./ CNA
