Investigations for the former minister Beqaj/ The journalist shows the

Journalist Glidona Daci has spoken about the investigations being carried out against the former Minister of Health Ilir Beqaj.

Invited to the "Opinion" show, the journalist showed the scheme of how the Gzona restaurant was created and that Beqaj is being investigated for not declaring the restaurant, in which his wife was a co-shareholder, in the property declaration.

Restaurant "Gzona" was created by Beqaj's wife and Arti Malaj with equal shares of 50%. Then, from 2019 to 2021, Beqaj's wife makes an act of donation, 35%. Then, in 2020, she sells 15% and sells all the shares to Arti Malajt, being completely removed from the "Gzona" restaurant. On the other hand, Arti Malay in 2021, makes sales in 2021 and gives it to Eduart Currajt, one of the shareholders of "Delta Farma". On the other hand, during all the verifications carried out by SPAK and the interceptions of Ermal Kurtulaj because he is the key person. "Gzona" has performed various services for events, which were performed by "Delta Farma" and amounted to around 100 million old Lek", said the journalist for the Opinion show.

She further informed where the violations were, stressing that the lunches and dinners of the delegations were made at Gzona while they received the bills at other bars.

"Referring to SPAK's investigations, Adriana Beqaj really gives up the "Gzona" restaurant, but on the other hand, Ermal Kurtulaj, who is Ilir Beqaj's most trusted man... Ilir Beqaj has not declared these connections. It turns out that in a communication he had with Ermal Kurtulajn, the latter asked for some fictitious invoices. In simple words, the services of the foreign delegations that have arrived in Albania or various events, have been made precisely at the "Gzona" restaurant, while the invoices have been cut at other restaurants.

They got lunch at "Gzona", while they got the bill at "Fevziu's bar". They told him that you will give me X bill and you will get X percent of the money. This is how it appears in the file that the invoices were made because the people who issued these fictitious invoices also had their share of the money. According to the court's decision, it is said that if a certain X service was offered at Gzona, the invoice was not made by Gzona, but by another X restaurant. The money was made with fictitious invoices and no invoices were provided", said the journalist./ CNA
