The incinerator of Elbasan/SPAK appeals the decision for Lefter Koka and Alqi Bllakon

The Special Prosecutor's Office has appealed the decision of the GJKKO for Alqi Bllako and Lefter Koka, for the allegations about the Elbasan incinerator.

SPAK requests in the Special Appeal the punishment of Bllako and Koka in the same way as requested in the claim of the investigating body, namely 10 years for Koka and 4 years for Bllako.

We clarify that Alqi Blako, the former Secretary General in the Ministry of Environment, has been acquitted of the Elbasan incinerator, but is being held in prison, after being convicted for the affair with the Fier incinerator.

The former Minister of the Environment, Lefter Koka, was sentenced to 8.6 years in prison, but from the shortened trial he will only serve 5.8 years in prison.

The "brains" of the incinerators, Mirel Mërtiri and Klodian Zoto, were sentenced to 10 years in prison, but due to the shortened trial, they will serve 6 years and 8 months in prison.

Stela Gugallja was sentenced to 7 years, but from the shortened trial she will serve 4 years and 8 months of imprisonment.
