The court orders prison for the non grata "brother" of Veliaj

Artan Grubi and Erion Veliaj

The Criminal Court accepted the Prosecution's proposal for Erion Veliaj's "brother" non grata, Artan Grubi.

The Criminal Court assigned 30 days of detention to former Deputy Prime Minister Artan Grubi.

The detention measure will be implemented "immediately after the location and arrest" of Grub, who has left the country.

The departure was also accepted by Artan Grubi, who announced that he was abroad on a private trip, with regular documents, and that he would return to North Macedonia as soon as he finished his obligations.

The "brother" non grata of Veliaj asked not to say that he had escaped.

Investigations against him began very quickly after former Deputy Prime Minister Grubi and judge Enver Bexheti were declared non-women by the US State Department for involvement in corruption./ CNA
